This is a beautiful wine with a deep ruby color. Legs are distinct and heavy.
This is a fairly bold, smooth wine.
The nose is earthy with some chocolate and leather.
They’re a lot going on here. Black currant, black licorice, pepper, mushrooms, raisins, plum.
I took a bite of licorice just to see and it brought the dry very forward.
Great with chili by the way!
