This is an AMAZING summertime wine. Technically it’s classified as a dessert wine (so is Port).
The aroma is full of strawberries and citrus. First taste: fruity and smooth flavors are pretty rounded with a hint of melon.
The flavor notes are bursting with strawberries, cream with a hint of citrus in the finish.
It’s sweet. So keep that in mind and try it with strawberry shortcake and creme brûlée.
Of course I support just drinking this on the deck with a good book too!!
Serve it well chilled.
