This is a really nice southern Australian red blend. Beautiful ruby red in color with thick heavy legs.
Mild and smooth with a great fruit balance.
The nose is light witht sweet tobacco and earth. Swirling the glass brings out hints of the black cherry and raisin.
There are a lot of great flavors if you take the time to experience them. Cherry, mushrooms, and citrus along with slight hints of anise.
It’s smooth with balanced fruits and acid without being overly tannic.
I enjoyed it with roasted cauliflower and a great steak.
This is definitely a good wine but can be enjoyable alone.
