This is a nice bold wine. Balanced with great flavors. The legs are even but light.
The nose is bright and leathery with a hint of smoke and earth. There is a very slight floral quality when you give it a little spin in the glass too. I’m thinking that this would be good with smoked salt caramels or even a smoky bacon chocolate.
There is a nice jammy mouth feel but it’s light. The fruit is also balanced with a little raspberry and freshness of citrus. It’s moderately tannic with with a light earthiness in the flavors. Definitely a mild red which would go great with bold BBQ!
