My first sip, it’s bold for sure. Smooth and quite dry. Fairly soft finish with lots of blackberries and dark fruit flavors. There is a very slight touch of oakyness but not a lot.
It would I think go well with a chocolate mousse, or even a grilled pork loin in a tomato based sauce.
Very drinkable especially now in 2019.
